a failure on paper and a star in his own heart, Daniel Taylor moved on from his tumultuous career as a fine artist at the Cleveland Institute of Art, into. a real-life workforce with more money but little time (yeah, I'm, like, definitely the only one with this problem). having been a perfect capitalist sponge for things such as comic books, B-films and overly masculine subjects such as cowboys and cars, Daniel views his artwork as a disgusting regurgitation/amalgamation of what he consumes. Tweaking, editing on his bootleg Photoshop CS5.5 from the original Pirate Bay, or just frankly absolutely butchering. existing magazine and film imagery until it fits his needs, Daniel uses his obsessively painful line work and stylized penmanship to manipulate the imagery that makes an impact on him. The anime girls and the robots are a mindless crowd pleaser, but why not please a crowd sometimes???
